Sylvaine Bataille

Sylvaine Bataille is a Lecturer in the English department at the University of Rouen, a member of ERIAC and the head of GUEST-Normandie, a research program on TV series. She works on the questions of appropriation, adaptation, translation and reference in 16th and 17th century English literature and in today’s popular culture, with a focus on screen adaptations of Shakespeare’s plays and drama TV series.
